Journal of Humanitarian Studies Vol. 4, 2015finishing three-year education can transfer to Canada and take Bachelor’s course of nursing as scholarshipstudents. Today, among the graduates who studied in Canada are working as professors and administratorsin Canada. By receiving the government aid since 2007, the college has been active in student exchangewith the Japanese Red Cross Kyushu Intl. College of Nursing and Thai Red Cross College of Nursing.Moreover, to practice the spirit of the Red Cross, it has conducted advanced nurse training programwith the U.S. and Japan, as well as global nursing experience program with developing nations, such asIndia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Mongolia. Since 2007, the college has held Asian Workshop onInnovative Nursing Education, inviting nine to ten educators annually from Asian countries, includingVietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Mongolia, Laos and China. Taking one step forward from internationalexchange, it makes contribution to ODA program for developing countries and nursing education in NorthKorea.
